As you know, ever since the loss of my assistantship, I have been battling with the Student Financial Aid Office to provide me with a viable financial aid package. Today, I lost the battle.
What this means for me, I do not completely know at the moment. I do not know whether I will be able to complete this program. I am fairly certain that I will not be taking the First Competency Final next week. I will keep you posted.

You've got to be kidding me. You *have* to take that exam. Money can wait. Seriously. Don't bail out on the exam.
I have been under so much stress for such a long time, that I'm having trouble eating and sleeping. However, as you will see from my next post, I am going to take the final. I found out that no student in this program has taken all 4 finals (in their current form) in one semester, but that is what I would have to do if I don't take this one now.
